Sign PDF: a practical guide

Draw a signature and place it on a PDF.

ERITHRA editorial2 min read

Use Sign PDF to draw a signature and place it on a PDF. This guide follows a concrete workflow: place a visible signature on an agreement. Keep your source file so you can compare the result and repeat the conversion with different settings.

Work through the example

  1. Upload the PDF and preview the selected page.
  2. Draw your signature and set its width and top-left placement in PDF points.
  3. Process and review the signed copy while keeping the unsigned original.

Understand the output

Adds a visible electronic signature. It is not a certificate-based digital signature or an identity verification service.

Use the preview or open the downloaded output in the application where it will be used. A successful export means that a file was created; your final review confirms that it meets the requirements of your actual task.

Save and share carefully

The tool link is shareable; your uploaded document is not included in that link. Download the finished file before closing the tab. Reset clears the workspace. You can save the tool to Favorites to return to the same workflow later.
