PDF Editor: a practical guide

Place text and images on a PDF with a visual page preview.

ERITHRA editorial2 min read

Use PDF Editor when you need to place text and images on a PDF with a visual page preview. This guide follows a concrete workflow: add a draft label to a report. Keep your source file so you can compare the result and repeat the conversion with different settings.

Work through the example

  1. Upload a PDF, choose its page number and select Preview selected page.
  2. Enter overlay text or upload a small image, then set its top-left position.
  3. Process and inspect the downloaded page to confirm placement.

Understand the output

Adds overlays; it does not change or securely redact the original text. Coordinates are measured from the top-left.

Use the preview or open the downloaded output in the application where it will be used. A successful export means that a file was created; your final review confirms that it meets the requirements of your actual task.

Save and share carefully

The tool link is shareable; your uploaded document is not included in that link. Download the finished file before closing the tab. Reset clears the workspace. You can save the tool to Favorites to return to the same workflow later.
