A short hashtag list is easier to review when it comes from the video’s actual subject. The YouTube Hashtag Generator turns keywords you provide into hashtags through explicit text-cleaning rules. It has no trend feed, search-volume data, or ranking model, so its output should be read as formatting rather than discovery.
Separate the intended topics
Enter phrases in Your topic keywords, using commas or new lines between topics. Set Maximum hashtags from 1 to 15, then choose Generate result. Think of each separated item as one proposed hashtag. Spaces within a phrase are removed rather than turned into separate tags.
Choose topics that accurately describe material in the video. A useful editing pass is to list the concrete subject, the demonstrated task, and any relevant project or series name. Adding a popular-sounding but unrelated term does not improve the accuracy of the result.
Follow the cleaning rules with an example
Try travel tips, travel tips, Camera Gear, C++ and set the maximum to 10. The result is #traveltips #CameraGear #C. The second travel tips entry disappears because it becomes an exact duplicate after cleaning. The space in Camera Gear is removed while its capitalization is preserved. Plus signs are removed from C++, leaving C.
The cleaner retains Unicode letters, numbers, and underscores. It discards punctuation, spaces, and other symbols, then removes empty items and exact duplicates. Duplicate comparison is case sensitive: camera and Camera remain separate values. If you want one consistent style, normalize your source keywords before generating the list.
The maximum is applied after cleaning and deduplication, preserving the order of the first surviving items. If the maximum is fractional, the implementation rounds it down. An input containing only punctuation produces an error asking for a topic with letters or numbers.
Review the wording before copying
Read each generated tag as a single unspaced word. Removing punctuation can change the meaning of a technical term or turn two words into an ambiguous string. Unicode support here means the cleaner accepts those letters; it does not certify how a publishing platform will interpret every possible hashtag.
Processing runs in the browser and does not query a remote recommendation service. The output is neither a popularity score nor a promise of reach. Keep the list relevant and check it in the actual publishing interface.
Use the Description Formatter to place the reviewed list in its intended context. When the real problem is explaining the video’s subject clearly, explore title structures with the Title Idea Generator before choosing tags.
