A combined PDF is easier to review when its parts already have an intentional order. Before merging a cover, report, and appendix, decide what a reader should encounter first. ERITHRA’s merger follows the chosen file order and preserves the page order within each source document.
Prepare the packet
Use clear source names such as 01-cover.pdf, 02-report.pdf, and 03-appendix.pdf. Choose the PDFs in the desired merge order and check the selected-file listing before processing. Renaming helps you reason about the sequence, but the actual chosen order remains the important detail.
You can select up to 20 PDFs, each no larger than 30 MB. The combined operation is limited to 100 pages. A small file can contain many pages, so verify page counts as well as megabytes. Encrypted or password-protected documents are unsupported; obtain an authorized unencrypted working copy before using this browser workflow.
Select Create PDF. The tool copies each source’s pages into a new document, moving through the selected files in sequence. Save the result with a name that describes the complete packet rather than overwriting a source by accident.
Check an eight-page example
Suppose the cover has 1 page, the report has 5, and the appendix has 2. Selecting them in that order creates an 8-page PDF. New page 1 is the cover, pages 2–6 are the report, and pages 7–8 are the appendix.
Those are file positions, even if the report itself prints page labels such as i, ii, or 1. Open the merged file and inspect the transitions at pages 1–2 and 6–7. This catches an order problem faster than reading every paragraph again.
If one source contains an unwanted blank page, remove it from a working copy before merging, or remove the corresponding position from the final packet. If the files are correct but the sequence is wrong, reorder the finished document deliberately.
Verify more than appearance
Processing stays in your browser, but rebuilding a PDF can affect bookmarks, attachments, interactive forms, and digital signatures. Keep the originals and test any document feature that a recipient relies on. A visually correct page does not establish that a form or signature remains valid.
The merged file may not be smaller than its sources together. Merging is an organization task, not an image-downsampling operation. Use PDF Page Reorder for a precise final sequence, and PDF Page Remover to remove identified page positions from a separate copy.
