Convert an image batch with one deliberate output setting

Prepare mixed JPEG, PNG, and WebP files for consistent delivery, then review individual outputs and the batch ZIP.

A folder of mixed image formats can be awkward to hand over. Bulk Image Converter produces a consistent output format while keeping each picture as a separate file. The key preparation is deciding whether the whole selection should really share the same format and quality.

Group files by their needs

Choose up to 20 JPEG, PNG, or WebP images. Inspect the upload previews for accidental duplicates and unrelated files. Each input is limited to 20 MB and 40 megapixels; combined input/output is limited to 100 MB. Split a large collection into smaller named groups if necessary.

Select JPEG, PNG, or WebP as the output. For JPEG and WebP, enter a quality from 1 to 100. PNG does not use that quality setting as a lossy quality control. One choice applies to the entire selection, so separating transparent logos from photographs can produce a more suitable result than forcing them into one batch.

JPEG fills transparent areas with white. Canvas conversion also flattens animation into a still image. Check those characteristics before processing a collection containing stickers, interface graphics, or animated WebP files.

Work through a mixed collection

Suppose you have three images: a 1200 by 800 JPEG, a 600 by 600 PNG logo, and a 900 by 1200 WebP portrait. Choosing WebP at quality 85 creates three WebP outputs. Their dimensions stay 1200 by 800, 600 by 600, and 900 by 1200 respectively.

The batch does not standardize dimensions merely because the format is shared. It also does not combine the three pictures into a collage or a single image. If the receiving system needs a fixed width, prepare that separately with the resizing tool.

Process the batch and compare its before/after thumbnails. Download an individual output when only one needs inspection, or collect all outputs in a ZIP. Open the ZIP after saving to confirm that the expected number of files is present and that the names make sense for delivery.

Review representative outputs

Inspect at least one photo, one graphic, and any image with transparency. Check their actual byte sizes; converting successfully does not guarantee that every file shrank. The ZIP is a package, not proof of useful compression.

Processing remains in your browser. Canvas export can remove metadata and color profiles, so preserve the source folder. If decoding or export fails, isolate the problem file and try a smaller group. Use Image Compressor when size comparison is the priority, or Image Resizer when the delivery requirement concerns pixel dimensions.
